![]() | LATE REGISTRATION & NUMBERS - Late registration ($22) and race package pickup will be available on Saturday, April 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Fire Station 19 at the corner of N. highland Ave. and Los Angeles Ave. in Virginia-Highlands. Final registration ($22) and number assignment will take place on Race Day, April 30 from 7:00 a.m. to start time at Piedmont Park picnic shelter. .No registration will be accepted once entry limits have been reached. Do not mail forms after April 24, 2000. |
![]() | AID/MEDICAL - Water will be provided at the finish for both dogs and owners, and at the halfway point of each event for dogs. Veterinarians will be on hand to handle canine emergencies. |
![]() | T-SHIRTS - Each entry fee includes one short sleeve Atlanta Dog Jog t-shirt. Extra shirts can be purchased for $10 and a limited number of long sleeve shirts can be purchased for $15. Late t-shirt purchases (after April 19) will be subject to availability, so order early! |
![]() | SPECTATOR REGISTRATION - If you don't own a dog or just don't want to run or walk, register as a spectator for $15. You'll still receive a t-shirt, bandana, and other surprises on the event day. |
![]() | COSTUME CONTEST - Costume awards will be given for the Best Dog/Owner Look-Alikes and the Best Costumes. All contestants must fill out a Costume Contest form (available at registration locations) and check in at the awards area by 9:00 a.m. |
![]() | AWARDS - Awards will be presented for the 2 mile
race only to Men and Women in the following categories: |
![]() | REFRESHMENTS, MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT and RAFFLE - Drinks and other refreshments will be provided for all participants. Musical entertainment will be provided. A raffle for lots of prizes will be held. Do not need to be present to win. |

![]() | OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES - This event is safe for the canine runner that has been properly trained for the distance. In case of emergency, veterinary aid will be available. The owner is responsible for pre-conditioning the pet. Because of the large number of dogs participating, the Race Directors reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog whose particiption could prove hazardous to others. All decisions by the judges are final. Participants must be present to receive the race package and awards. |
